Florida (26.2 with Donna The National Breast Cancer Marathon) 2/21/10

This turned out to be a really good race. The course wasn't a PR course but it was well put on and it was for a great cause. The weather at the start of the race was cool but it warmed up quickly once the sun came up. It was very inspirational running with cancer survivors and people running for loved ones who have or lost their battle to cancer. The crowd support was good and all the volunteers were very friendly and very appreciative of the runners. Both the full and half marathoners were able to run on the beach for a couple of miles and that was alot of fun. Wendy did the half marathon which was her 3rd and that was great seeing her complete another one. Overall it was a great weekend and one state closer to my goal.
