Dallas 2007

This is where I ran my BQ. I had been trying for several races and always fell a little short. The weather forecast for this race was very warm but there was a cold front moving south. The night before the race the front started moving faster so it looked like it was going to be here in time for the race. Woke up race morning and the temps were great for racing (high 30's - low 40's) but was raining and windy. The rain let up at the start of the race but the wind stuck around and was very challanging in spots, especially around the lake. I was able to run this race with a good friend (Jonathan thanks for being there) and we both finished with a 3:26. It was very emotional qualifying for Boston, something I will always remember and look back on.
